          Chloroprene Rubber (CR) หรือ Neoprene Rubber เป็นยางที่มีคุณสมบัติในการทนการสึกหรอที่ดี และสามารถต้านทานต่อการติดไฟ ถ้าไฟติดจะไม่ลุกลามและสามารถดับได้เอง Chloroprene Rubber (CR) หรือ Neoprene Rubber เป็นยางที่มีการใช้กันอย่างแพร่หลายในอุตสาหกรรมการขนส่ง เช่น ผลิตซีลประตู ตัวเชื่อมต่อที่ยืดหยุดได้หรือปะเก็น เนื่องจากมีความต้านทานต่อเปลวไฟ และ โอโซน ในงานวิศวกรรมทั่วไป เช่น งานแบริ่งสะพานในโครงการวิศวกรรมโยธา และเป็นที่ยึดป้องกันการสะเทือนสำหรับอุปกรณ์วิศวกรรม Chloroprene Rubber (CR) หรือ Neoprene Rubber นั้นเป็นยางที่มีความสมดุลและมีคุณสมบัติเชิงกลที่สมบูรณ์แบบ มีความต้านทานการสึกหรอเป็นอันดับสองรองจากยาง Natural Rubber (NR) คือยางธรรมชาติและยังทนทานต่อน้ำมัน สารเคมี และความร้อน
